NSPM (Network Security Policy Management)

Network Security Policy Management (NSPM) is the discipline of centrally analyzing, optimizing, governing, and auditing firewall and security-group policy across every vendor and environment from a single source of truth.

Network Security Policy Management (NSPM) covers the full lifecycle of firewall policy: building a unified inventory of rules and objects across vendors, analyzing them for risk and over-permission, optimizing toward least privilege, governing changes, and producing audit evidence.

NSPM matters most in heterogeneous estates — multiple firewall vendors plus cloud security groups — where no single device console can answer questions about the whole network. In regulated environments it is also the layer that proves compliance with frameworks such as SAMA CSF, NCA ECC, and PCI DSS.

See the concept in practice.

OpClerk PolicyManager puts these ideas to work across every firewall vendor — deployed inside your own perimeter.
